Maine Psychological Services

Maine Psychological Services is owned by Dr. Denise Vagt, a licensed clinical psychologist (Maine License PS1998). Dr. Vagt has a wealth of experience understanding and treating mental health concerns. She specializes in the treatment of anxiety, stress, and trauma related disorders. Dr. Vagt completed her Doctorate in Psychology at Florida Institute of Technology and spent the beginning of her career serving as an Active Duty Air Force Psychologist. She now works in the private sector as the owner of Maine Psychological Services. Dr. Vagt has made the decision to not be on any insurance panels. All services are provided to patients through private / self-pay. As an out-of-network provider, Dr. Vagt maintains a higher level of confidentiality and more flexible scheduling. Full payment is due at the time of the appointment. A superbill will be automatically sent after each appointment, which allows patients to file for reimbursement from their insurance provider directly, if desired.
